Did You Know?

Research of 600 companies between 1980-85 revealed companies who kept advertising during the 1981-82 recession saw sales rise 256% over those who had not.

A further study of 1,000 companies in the 1990's recession found that those companies that cut their marketing budget saw their Return on Capital Employed (ROCE) fall by 0.8%; those who increased it saw ROCE increase by 4.3%.
